Question 1

How does mobile grooming actually work?

Accepted Answer

A fully self-contained grooming van arrives at your home — its own water tank, heater, power, and climate control. Your groomer needs nothing from your house except a dog and a place to park. Most appointments take 60–120 minutes and your pup never leaves your property.

Question 2

Do I need to be home during the appointment?

Accepted Answer

Nope. Many clients hand off at the door and get back to their day — or leave a gate code in their booking notes. We text when we're 15 minutes out, send photo updates during the groom, and confirm when your freshly-styled dog is back inside.

Question 3

What areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

Lampasas, Kempner, Copperas Cove, Lometa, Killeen, Harker Heights, Burnet, and Bertram — with new routes added as demand grows. Enter your address during booking for an instant coverage check.

Question 4

How does pricing work?

Accepted Answer

Prices are set by service and your dog's weight class, and you'll see an estimate while you book. Addison gives your final quote when she arrives — coat condition, matting or extra handling time can change it — and payment is due at your appointment. Nothing is charged online. Tips are always optional.

Question 5

What's your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Life happens — cancel or reschedule from your portal. Please give at least 24 hours' notice so the time can go to another dog. We keep a card on file only for same-day cancellations: cancelling on the day of your appointment may mean a fee (Addison decides the amount, never more than your estimate).

Question 6

Can I book the same groomer every time?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and we encourage it. Choose a preferred groomer during booking, or turn on a recurring appointment and the same groomer arrives on your cadence — every 2, 4, or 6 weeks.

Question 7

What vaccinations do you require?

Accepted Answer

A current rabies vaccination for every dog we groom. Upload the record once in your portal — we'll track the expiration and remind you before it lapses.

Question 8

My dog is anxious or reactive. Can you handle that?

Accepted Answer

It's our specialty. One-on-one grooming with no kennels, no other dogs, and no salon chaos changes everything. Note the temperament during booking and we'll match a groomer experienced with nervous pups, work in breaks, and never push past your dog's limits.

Question 9

What if my dog is matted?

Accepted Answer

We'll always be honest about what's humane. Light matting is worked out at a flat de-matting rate, approved by you first. If a coat is too far gone, we'll recommend a comfortable shave-down and a plan to grow back a healthy coat — pain is never on the menu.

Question 10

Do you groom senior dogs or dogs with medical issues?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Flag medical conditions in your dog's profile — Addison adapts table time, water temperature, dryer settings, and handling. For serious conditions we may ask for a quick vet sign-off.

Question 11

What's actually included in each service?

Accepted Answer

Every service includes a warm double bath with coat-matched shampoo, blow-dry, brush-out, nail trim, and ear cleaning. Haircuts, deshedding treatments, and spa upgrades layer on from there — see the Services page for a full breakdown.

Question 12

Do you really send photos?

Accepted Answer

Before and after, every appointment, straight to your portal. Fair warning: the after photos have ended more than one group chat.
