What we collect

To deliver mobile grooming we collect the information you’d expect: your name and contact details, service addresses, your dogs’ profiles (breed, weight, temperament, medical notes you share), appointment history, photos taken during grooming, payment records, and messages you exchange with us.

How we use it

• Service delivery — scheduling, routing our vans, tailoring each groom to your dog.
• Communication — confirmations, reminders, en-route texts, and receipts.
• Safety — medical alerts and temperament notes are shared with your assigned groomer only.
• Marketing — occasional offers, only with your opt-in, always with one-tap unsubscribe.

Payments

Card details never touch our servers. Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 provider; we store only the last four digits and card brand for your reference.

What we never do

We never sell your data, never share it with advertisers, and never send marketing texts without explicit consent. After photos of your dog may appear in our public gallery (first name only) unless you turn that off in your account settings.

Text messages

We use your mobile number to send the appointment texts you agreed to (reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help; message and data rates may apply). We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your number is shared only with the service providers that deliver The Traveling Tail's messages.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data anytime from your portal or by emailing thetravelingtail.llc@gmail.com. Deletion requests complete within 30 days, subject to records we must retain by law (e.g., invoices).

Data retention & security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-restricted and audit-logged. Appointment records are retained for 7 years for tax purposes; everything else is deleted on request.
