Terms of Service

1. The service

The Traveling Tail LLC (“The Traveling Tail”) provides mobile dog grooming services at your address within our published service areas. By booking, you confirm you own or are authorized to make decisions for the dog being groomed.

2. Booking, estimates, payment & cancellation

• Prices shown online are estimates. Your groomer gives you a final quote at your appointment, before work begins.
• Nothing is charged online. Payment is due in full at your appointment.
• Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment window so the time can go to another dog.
• A card on file is required to book. It's used only for same-day cancellations: if you cancel on the day of your appointment, a cancellation fee may be charged — Addison sets the amount, never more than the visit's estimate.
• If we need to cancel (weather, vehicle issues), we'll reach out to rebook you as soon as possible.
• Every client signs our Client Service Agreement before their first appointment.

3. Health & vaccination requirements

A current rabies vaccination is required for all dogs. You agree to disclose known medical conditions, allergies, and behavioral concerns before service. We may decline or stop a groom if continuing would be unsafe for your dog or our groomer; in that case you’re charged only for work performed.

4. Matting & humane grooming

Severe matting may require a shave-down for your dog’s comfort. We will always discuss options and get your approval before proceeding. De-matting beyond light tangles is billed at our published rate.

5. Photos

We photograph before/after results for your records. Public use (gallery, social media) happens only with the photo-sharing preference enabled in your portal.

6. Gift cards

Gift cards never expire and are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.

7. Liability

We are fully insured and your groomer is a certified professional. Our liability for any claim is limited to the price of the service giving rise to the claim, except where the law provides otherwise. Pre-existing conditions aggravated by routine grooming that were not disclosed to us are your responsibility.

8. Changes

We may update these terms with 30 days’ notice by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Questions: thetravelingtail.llc@gmail.com.

9. SMS Terms

The Traveling Tail appointment texts. If you check the box agreeing to texts when you create an account or book, we text you about your appointments: confirmations, reminders, arrival updates, schedule changes and condition reports about your dog. Agreeing is optional and isn't required to book.

• Message frequency varies with your appointments. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or turn texts off in your account settings. Reply HELP for help, or email thetravelingtail.llc@gmail.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
